This is an ongoing project that documents my close friends during the pandemic. The series has been shot over the past two years, during and between national lockdowns in the United Kingdom. Largely based in my hometown of Fleet, and the nearby woods, these portraits and still lifes reflect a period of loss and isolation but also inspire hope through memory. As I returned to university, I continued to shoot those around me, forming a continuing archive chronicling this formative shift in our lives.
