The idea of observing food started when I was looking at rotten cream cheese. I saw that the mold created a unique look that changed the appearance of the food completely . Since then I started looking at things differently and began to capture everyday food in combination with different light settings and backgrounds. It’s also very interesting to see how colors change the looks of the given objects, as well as shapes and shadows.
I believe that the curiosity – a child-like approach if you will – is helping us to understand things differently because you spend much more time paying attention to simplicity and the little things that make the objects stand out for themselves.
