I strive towards finding a counterpoint between the objective and subjective nature of photography. Photography holds a power to describe, to be objective to a certain degree, but within this, it can never just be taken at face value.
It is about finding the underlying poetic nuances that make up any scene, photographs are all around, in the world you see daily, everywhere you look, but this notion has now been joined by the masses of realised photographs that everyone now carries around. For me, one Image can still hold more than the thousands to be found on my phone.
