In the forest, I learned and practised humility. Immersed in a sea of trees, it's hard to maintain your egocentrism. To continue to believe that everything that exists and is important in this world is you with your family, home and work and with your friends or people in general, with theirs. And it's not that you find out that there are trees in the world, but that there are bigger things, much bigger than you and that, as far as we know, could very well have their lives, theirs. In addition to trees, there is the earth that holds roots and gives life, it is sunlight and water - all explained by science as well as the anatomy of the human being.
