"Learn From Clip Art" is a body of work in which I explored the vast "sea" of the image bank, the clip art "vault", the quotes and known sayings of our jargon - a sea which is as shallow and trivial as much as it is vast and wide. I am intrigued by this culturul abundance of the superficial image - these images, objects and sayings we know too well, branded in our collective consciousness. From the macintosh clip art to the iPhone emoji, the getty image bank to the google image search, the cheesy mottos to the hollow slogans - these all assemble our current cultural language, draining it from meaning. My illustrations wish to delve into these issues from a humouristic and personal approach at times, and distant or somewhat harsh approach at other times.
