For me, painting is a meditative practice; an outlet to release intuitive energy and let go of preconceived notions of self-imposed rules or judgments of how I interpret and portray the world. Though my architectural training often manifests itself in my work, it doesn’t constrain my freedom of expression. My painting “practice” is restorative; it is a time when I am truly in the present moment, listening to my intuition letting it lead my direction in creating what I call “inward landscapes.”
