I paint the feminine figure blending subtle narratives between my subjects and the world around them; both the natural world as well as the relationships with each other. My paintings are always evolving. I never tire of experimenting with pushing paint around my canvas. More recently I’ve been exploring a bit of deconstructed realism. I’m playing with a loose paint style in between the more detailed layers of paint creating an intriguing blend of mystery with the old master realism I so admire.
