Castillo’s work is a time between image and word, between memory and figure, between lethargy and sensation.
Because words are conjugated between times and evoke images. In the present case, they conjugate themselves to provoke osmosis and silence.
Although the photographic image as such is capable of expressing and visualizing itself without words, and the word of expressing images, the proposal is meant to be a poem where image and word create ambivalent memories in a lyrical world where the spectator is her own memory and her own experience.
