Jing’s work is an intuitive exploration of folklore and mythology. Her illustrations situate themselves on the border between story and poetry. Most of them are printmaking works. At Camberwell College of Art, she became fascinated with the transformation of historicity in Folklore under the influence of allegorical interpretations. Her work consists of investigation, narrative and unconscious repetition. " It captures my known and experienced, as well as moments when people are engulfed and covered by the richness of folklore, and the moment people's lives are linked to the world of myth in various and highly fleeting ways."
