James Bentley lives and works on the small island of Île-Perrot, just off Montréal, Québec. He studied Illustration and Design at Dawson College and then later at the Illustration Academy in Liberty Missouri. He then began his career as a freelance illustrator; a practice which gave him a great love for drawing and creating images. His illustrations are based on observation and visual storytelling. James’ work has been exhibited in Museums, art centers and galleries in Canada, Los Angles and New York.
