Aoife (pronounced ee-fah) is an artist, designer and creative director based in Ireland.
She's been creating artwork that explores themes of perception, identity, reality, nature, technology, mythology and sci-fi for over 18 years and has cultivated an illustration style which is bold, bright and distinct.
Her work is driven by a desire to imagine what lives in the gaps of human perception and aims to subvert expectations by combining the familiar in unfamiliar ways, often via queer and neurodivergent storytelling perspectives.
Working primarily in hand-drawn digital illustration, her work is defined by her love of using colour and whimsy to bring weirdly cute characters of critters and femmes to life in otherworldly settings.
