This photographic series was inspired by Medical Imaging, with each image directly inspired by an x-ray, CT scan, ultrasound, MRI scan, angiogram or nuclear medicine scan. There are significant parallels between the forms in plant life and in our own anatomy. Each photograph was painstakingly created, with the process of generating ideas just as laborious as the execution of each image. These works were created during an artist residency at Flinders Medical Centre in 2017 as part of the SALA Festival.
