The Intermission project began with a spring sunset casting a soft glow on clothes drying on my family’s rooftop, transporting me back to childhood evenings at my grandmother’s home. This inspired me to capture everyday traditions in a fast-paced world. My work focuses on scenes in my hometown, especially the airing of linens and garments at noon, symbolizing pauses in urban life. Through my lens, these moments become tranquil intermissions, offering glimpses of simplicity and continuity. The project reflects on time, respects the past, and hopes for the future. Each photo tells a story of deep familial connections and traditions, inviting viewers to rediscover similar moments in their own lives.
