The work I have submitted relates to a cultural colonialism that has spread across North America and most parts of the world. Vast landscapes of flattened trees to facilitate parking space for giant box stores that now 'build' and 'stimulate' communities. The images all hold a heavy amount of doctoring but are presented in a documentary format with an intention to trick the viewer into believing what they see is the reality - but the subject matter isn't far from the truth and highly believable, scarily so. The series of work is called 'The Golden Arches of Bethlehem Lead Wise Men Astray' and can be viewed in its entirety on my website.
