Ilir Bibovic (American, b. 1993) known for his illustrative paintings filled with allegory and contemporary imagery. His emphasis primarily on storytelling and tying history into one homologous composition.
Often he incorporates elements ranging from the Baroque, 1950s TV tropes, comic books and Renaissance portraiture. He is noted for his examinations of Old Master painting techniques and scenes featuring subjects interacting ambiguously. As he explores with marks, color and scale; most notably he encapsulates his figurative works with colorful elements and various archetypes. He currently lives and works in New York.
