My artwork is focused on the mythology surrounding women and "female artists." I often use satirical self-portraits and the tropes of the male gaze in my paintings, drawings, prints, photographs and videos. I am interested in the ways women curate their lives and art, the decision making behind their chosen narrative, and how it can be used as a marketing tool in the digital age. I attempt to understand this mythology and the absurdity of the fine art world by manifesting my confusion into something physical, often times creating my own unreality.
