I M CONNECTED
The papier mache figures are my exploration in papier Mache as material, and also part of an ongoing series “I M CONNECTED”.
It is comment on Man’s urgency to be connected with everyone, all the time. The newer inventions, improvisations of smarter social gadgets and media applications, is making it possible, exciting the mundane existence.
My concern talks about the urgency to be connected with the world outside, but no intention to connect with ME,myself..
The smaller figure ‘ME’ the real self, is manipulating the bigger tilting figure, pushes on to the screen as ‘MYSELF ’, the image I would like to portray on the social media’s as I would like people know me.
