Maximiliano Tineo is a Paris (France) based photographer born in Rosario, Argentina, 1988.
“Is ok if you take the camera with you, but don’t waste film taking pictures of the people’s hands and feet” my parents told to my 9 years old me when I made my first trip without them, to the northern province of Misiones, Argentina.
That phrase engraved something on me (or maybe it was there before), this way of looking for details, to looking for being close of the things and to take pictures about what we “shouldn’t waste film on”.
I don’t believe in this thing of “One picture: the picture”, but to sew many pictures in order to make a fabric of images, like a musical composition where you need the low tones to sustain the melody, the trumpets to give air and the guitar solo to marvel, and see all the pictures as one big thing.
