I paint small acrylic paintings on old 3.5 floppy disks. I didn't start this out of any deep conceptual conceit. I just had a box of them in my studio that I’ve been moving around for years and I like the size. I tend to noodle endlessly when I paint, which can result in a lot of unfinished work, so this miniature canvas size works well for me. The problem was that I couldn’t get a consistent flow going. So, I set myself a personal challenge to paint 100 floppy disks in 100 days.
