This photographic series is from my visit to Saklıkent ( Hidden City ) canyon, which is a national park located in southwestern Turkey. This place is unbelievably beautiful and mystic, I felt so little and powerless in front of this sharp rocks and roaring rivers of this 18km long, 300 meters deep canyon. So I decided to capture the grandiosity and the beauty of it with my film camera, just after a five minutes walk down by the canyon the behavior of the visitors caught my attention. I noticed that the relationship between the human and nature was exceptional and strange. I wanted to show this particular connection of the human in front of the grandiose delusions of this steep and narrow canyon on my diptychs.
