This ongoing series "Gun Show" explores the boundaries of gun culture and how it has ingrained its place in society through language, hand motions, and our culture in general. Through exploring the many subtle ways we reference guns in our daily lives I have been creating a series of paintings depicting these subtle representations by juxtaposing them into figurative scenes. The other half of the series consists of paintings of toy guns to question how we market and sell gun culture to children.
