Part of this series is centered around a smiley face character. It's based off of the phrase "grin and bear it". Lately I've really been noticing the amount of times I put on a fake smile. I'm not a confrontational person, I try to take the path of least resistance when it comes to friends, family, etc. But it wore away at me. And I feel like I faked it to a point where I didn't even know who I really was anymore. In addition to that, there's a lot of moments of reflection, whether it's the ocean, or a literal mirror. I go to the pier every night. Just trying to dissect my life choices, certain situations, etc. I've really worked on trying to figure out who I actually am. Last, I can never get away from this transparent feeling. Especially in New York. I always feel like wallpaper. So I wanted the characters to emulate that.
Good Bye, Thank You
