This photographic project takes a lyrical stance on nature, as ghostly as dazzling. A path wavering between shadows and luminescence, towards a cold, labyrinthine fracas or an exhilarating, idyllic refuge.
The photographs in “Give me my wings!” allude to the desire to embrace the light, and the attempt to emancipate oneself through what is seen and what can be grasped. A nebulous, oxymoronic vision, still exposed to everything and nothing, osmosis and deconstruction. An enigmatic reality that confronts us with what (really) does something positive, and, the other way round, exposes us to what does not.
Whether in the lively gentleness of self-abandonment, or in the dark, longing wandering, these images act as a return to what is necessary: the power of light, and the one of our very eyes.
