A series of portraits where I explore the generational issues of the present, such as privacy and childlessness-by-choice. I am challenging the viewer to consider these modern issues in the context of past generations. The futility of protecting the privacy of the long past mirrors the futility of privacy protection in an increasingly public era. The depersonalisation of the child represents the the societal trend to abstain from procreation as a measure of population control in a world where resources continue to be unsustainable.
