Growing up on long Island with my Mother and my Sister, we were always in flight mode. Town after town, we moved, rejoined schools, made new short lived relationships; we reconnected with these ever changing and brief newnesses within ourselves that we were forced to confront due to situations seemingly out of our control. There was never an instance until moving away to Arroyo Grande, California as a 13 yr. old where I personally felt like being able to hold onto any one thing was an option. Discovering photography and its magically scientific ability to document time even through struggle and change has opened me up. It has helped me see that there is a way to hold time and honor even brief little moments that can later stop me in my tracks and immerse me in times now gone.
Gaurdians do wander, a focus on Fauna and Flora.
