My current body of work employs the visual languages of architecture and landscape as a means of interrogating the systems and structures that shape and impact our planet, our society, and our personal, social, and political identities. As a maker, I am driven by a sense that we define our existence through the structures we create: architectural and engineered structures as much as through our social, political, and financial systems. I explore the complexities and interconnectedness of these systems through scalar shifts and juxtapositions to arrive at objects that implicate the viewer in the work as part of the system, rather than merely illustrating an idea.
