'Free Time' is a series of black-and-white images taken at a wrestling club during practice. I aim to capture the moments of intimacy and pure emotion that exist before and after the intensity of a fight. The absence of colour serves as a deliberate contrast to the ferocity of the action. Wrestling is a combat sport focused on physical control and dominance therefore through these images, I hope to convey a side of submission and vulnerability.
