Marco Pace was Born in 1977 in Lanciano (Chieti), Marco Pace attended the Istituto Statale d’Arte, before moving to Florence in 1997, where he studied Informal Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts. During his student time and until he obtained his degree in 2003, he worked in comics, theatre and film set design, and exhibited in many solo and group shows. After graduating, he met and began a collaboration with Gianni Pettena, which led them, since 2007, to supervise and realise together the An-architetto installations (Manifesta7, Athens Bienniale, FIAC, Artissima, PAC, UMOCA Salt Lake City, private galleries etc.). Parallel to this, Pace never stopped his pictorial research. His paintings depict architecture interiors (musee du Quai Branly, Michelucci station in Florence, Renzo Piano’s Beyeler Foundation etc...) and landscapes
