The camera itself is an apparatus that I use to get to know my Father better. I see it as the bridge that can connect us. It’s also an excuse to ask him to share his past with me so I can photograph it. I want to relive those moments with him. Last time I visited him, he showed me a couple of places where he grew up and introduced me to people that he had not seen for years. We also went through some of his belongings that he has had since he was four years old. I photographed his bible that focuses on prosperity and wisdom. There are at least 10 different bibles in Buddhism; each one embodies different aspects in life. The most common ones are health, prosperity, love and wisdom.
