My work focuses on the psychology of the human form – how a gesture or a look can convey an abundance of meaning, all within the context of themes such as the mystery of the subconscious self and psychological archetypes. I draw from my own personal experiences and transmute them into a symbolic narrative through the portrayal of the female form. Light also plays an important role in my work. It becomes a character in its own right – uncovering hidden layers and bringing emotional notes to light. With each piece I create, I strive to give the viewer an emotionally resonant visual experience – something akin to that moment of “flow” that I experience when I create. Ultimately, my goal and philosophy as an artist is to explore the rich landscape of what it means to be human.
