These photos are from a series titled We Were Girls Together. This photo series is about girlhood and how people who have experienced the identity of being a girl in different ways. It aims to document community, solitude, transformation, nostalgia, friendship, and femininity. These three images are a self reflection on my own upbringing. My first haircut, ballet flats, and bra are all items I have held sacred as I grow older.
