My works are a graphic journal that develops over time. I create from observing the lines and shapes of imagery I encounter in my everyday life, such as hands or human faces. My works done without elaborated planning in order to achieve an intuitive connection with the viewers. I work fast, in an abstracted, loose and improvised way. These call for trial and error, erasure and repetition. The final result itself refers to the mundane, the small, the repetitive, and the spontaneous. The images are anchored in reality but processed through abstraction and concentration on artistic elements: color, line, composition and form. The relationship between realism and abstraction strives to be equal: imagination supports the frame or complements it - in order to open the realistic drawing to interpretation.
