Fading Fast is a series of photos dealing with happiness, loneliness, memories and the loss of time. I struggled with ideas for this project for almost a year before it came together... the concept was to try to display emotions that I feel every day of my life and to explore not only how time seems to slip away from you but also how more recent memories can feel further away than ones from long ago. I thought pulling memories from the last 10 years of my life would be a good measurement of time. Everything from colors, arrangement, binding, cover, subject, location, and number of photos was very intentional.
