“Facts and Figures” is an exploration of simplicity, whitespace, and shapes. In his zine, Sebastian König showcases over 100 single-colored pictogram illustrations. These tiny one-picture stories introduce wobbly characters that fill 32 pages in his riso zine, accompanied by three poster prints. The scissor-cut-like symbols reveal absurd meanings or events in simple, single images. These “facts” encounter the “figures” – flat characters that traverse the pages.
