Fabric is an interweaving of many different strands of thread. The thread itself is comprised of many different fibers twisted together. “Fabric of life" paints a metaphorical picture of life whereby some threads go in one direction and the others run perpendicularly to them depicting times when life flows easily and other times when we face adversity. Symbolism is used through the fabric with reference to the facets of everyday life, a designer chair, a cello, an architectural home (my husband is an architect), and drone are featured in the work. References to the garden (my happy place), travel and family day trips to explore the Australian bush land can also be found.
