I'm a photographer and filmmaker. I also make music when not taking photos and making films. I'm most interested in my own projects but sometimes get hired to shoot photos for companies like A24 Films, HBO, New York Times and others. My area of study is humans and their varied behaviors. Their ever changing cultures make for a near impossible task to ever fully understand. Through my 20+ years of studies of this species, I've found the still and movie cameras to be the tools that work best. They allow me a chance to make small observations that often eventually add up to larger understandings. These imperceptible shifts in culture are otherwise lost to the intensity of our existence so it is my interest to capture, organize and present threads my findings in the field.
