My pen and acrylic ink drawings are nature-inspired with a focus on the magic and mystery nature can hold. Many of the subjects are plants, fungi, and animals that can be found in Michigan, where I've spent most of my life. Each piece brings attention to the tiny things often overlooked in the natural world, and also the possibility of what might yet be undiscovered. I use surrealism to depict this complexity and to represent the connections between flora and fauna.
