Elin Lindecrantz is a Swedish graphic designer and painter based in Barcelona. Her work sit between figuration and abstraction, using the painted media as a form of manifesting observations in the everyday life. The techniques used are typically oil and acrylic on paper and canvas. Her main interest lies in spaces, atmospheres, light, shadows and reflection, asking what is the difference between physical and emotional landscapes. An ongoing search for something momentary and intimate – that at the same time is non-linear and universal.
