“The Altiplano” is a series of analog photographs that I took during my trip to Peru, Bolivia, and Chile.

The Altiplano is a very large area lying in the central Andes, occupying parts of northern Chile and Argentina, western Bolivia, and southern Peru. Its height averages about 3,750 meters, which makes life more difficult there. Its inhabitants wander in the middle of this overwhelming and desolate landscape, a nowhere place full of history where time seems to have stood still.
