Double exposure photography is my medium of choice, as it provides me with the opportunity to explore the liminal space between reality and imagination.
In my latest double exposure series, I have captured the contrast between the historic architecture of the old bund in Shanghai and the towering, futuristic buildings of Pudong in the background. These two worlds collide in a dance of light and shadow, creating a mesmerizing narrative of Shanghai's past and present.
Working with film allows me to embrace the tactile and organic qualities of the medium, with its rich textures and nuanced color palette. Each roll of film is imbued with its own unique character, influencing the final result in unexpected and delightful ways.
