I found a roadside attraction on the empty drive between Southern CA and Arizona and thought it was an intriguing place to visit. Upon arriving, the eeriness was palpable and while it seems the creators intended it to be something beautiful, it leaves you with a sense of unease. I wanted to showcase this through the framing and open space around each image while creating a color story that enhanced the strange feeling around the space. It feels odd to find something so storybook dystopian just on the side of the road.
