Daevid is a contemporary realist painter living and working in Perth, Western Australia.

His still lifes, portraits and figurative works have seen him named a finalist in the Black Swan Prize for Portraiture in 2010 and 2011, and the Shirley Hannan Portrait Prize in 2012. In 2017, he has also been selected as a semi-finalist in the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize, a finalist in the George’s River Art Prize and the Darlington Reserve Art Prize, and winner of the painting prize at the City of Stirling Art Awards.

His work is held in private collections across Australia and the United States.
