I'm sharing work from my upcoming photobook "Cuando Pude" (in English, When I Could). It’s a collection of documentary street photography from the last 7 years. These specific images are from my trip to Dakar, Senegal in February 2024. They're unreleased, shot on Kodak film and I’d love to give Booooooom a preview of what’s coming.
I saw the ocean for the first time when I was 21 and I promised myself I’d see the world with whatever I had in my pocket. Cuando Pude is a tribute to making things happen by any means necessary, even when the odds aren’t in your favor. From dirt cheap flights to hitchhiking, sleeping on street benches waiting for overnight trains—it’s all part of the adventure. The book captures my journey through 23 countries, from Sub-Saharan Africa and East Asia to Europe and South America
