I am interested in exploring how women establish intimacy and femininity through the nuances of their expressions. A gaze can be deconstructed from a physical standpoint -- pupil dilation, distance from the viewer, the crescent of the lips. These characteristics give rise to the intangible when, together, they are able to inspire a sense of privacy, intimacy, or lack thereof. My works are small experiments, wherein I try out different media, surfaces, and perspectives, as I record the expressions that I encounter.
