My work is more or less like me: full of contrasts.
What does that mean? I like abstract acrylic painting the same way I like clean watercolor illustration. I listen to Hard Rock and a couple of minutes later to Classical or Jazz music. One morning I wear jeans and a hoody, a couple of hours later I dress up in a suit. I guess pigeonhole thinking does not work for me.
Most of the time, however, I work with acrylics on larger scale canvas or paper. I use a lot of different brushes and palette knifes. I get inspired by everything I see, hear, feel, smell or taste: from the moment I get up in the morning until the last thought I have in the evening. My brain absorbs everything like a sponge, mixes every impression until they create one smooth intuitive idea.
