Chromatic Clouds is an exploration of colour and shape through temporary and chaotic media. Acrylic ink, air and light interact within a water-filled space and rely solely on chemical physics to determine each brush stroke. Photography is then used to "freeze" these clouds in time. There is a simple beauty to laying in the grass and calling out which shape each cloud in the sky reminds you of, and the aim here is to recreate that sense of wonder.
