In the past year I developed a series of complex vector portraits where the subject matter is emotion, rather than a figure. By abstracting the figures and collaging moments in expressions, I create a chaotic representation of emotion. Through vector shapes and the flatness of the medium I wanted to establish a disconnection from figurative forms without completely detaching from the subjects represented.
