The year was 2016, back then I was starting to get back into photography after a 4 year hiatus when I made a new friend who happened to introduce me to his Nikkormat FT.
The Nikkormat FT is an all-metal, mechanically controlled, manual focus SLR manufactured in Japan from 1965 to 1967.
I've been using this camera ever since and it's the only thing I use when I'm out in the desert, where this photo was taken.
A friend and I were driving towards the Salvation Mountain when we spotted Mary-Lou Sullivan's grave, we looked at each other and stopped the car.
I'm still planning on going back there to find out who she was, what happened to her and why is she there, it's one of the top 5 tasks in my bucket list.
