Pictured (Canon 5D Mark IV) is actually the second Canon camera body I own, for the first 2 years into my (now going onto 3) photography journey I was shooting with Canon Rebel T5i, and a 50mm f1.8 fixed lens, which both have since been adopted by my friend. The following image was taken with the original, possibly as basic as you can get, Canon DSLR setup.
This portrait was taken 10 months into my dive into photography—been a graphic designer working in an architecture firm, I was looking for an alternative outlet that would provide me with fuller creative freedom. Fortunately with a small photography portfolio I was able to start doing tests for various local model agencies. This image, with model Jud, was the first photo I felt like I captured 'something' other than just someone's physical presence and features.
