Broken Surfboards, Unwavering Dreams is a story of resilience, transformation, and surrender to life’s currents. I first met Alexis in 2023, surfing with a broken board, yet undeterred. Nearly two years later, I found him again—same board, same beach, but with newfound wisdom. Now studying physiotherapy and aspiring to be a lifeguard, he approaches the waves not just to ride them, but to understand them. His journey mirrors my own as an artist—pushing forward despite challenges, learning, expanding. This work is a meditation on persistence, the lessons water teaches us, and the beauty of unwavering dreams.
